In the first, of a mult-part artice, Susan Black provides a brief introduction to some leading villa holiday locations.

murcia-villa.jpgNothing brings serenity and relaxation quite like a much needed holiday, which makes the idea of a villa break nothing less than the mother of all options. What never fails to amaze is that although it is nothing even close to secret that villas can be as affordable as even a modestly priced hotel, many couples and families never consider renting a villa out of misguided preconceptions that the endeavor will be a hugely expensive one. This couldn't be further from the truth and even in the cases when a few extra quid here or there might be necessary, the difference it affords is simply spellbinding.

With this in mind, the following is a brief introduction to a few of the best villas that any newbie would be wise to take a look into, offering the very best the region has to offer, amenities to satisfy even the pickiest person and prices that will never break or even significantly bend the bank!

France - Tursac - Perigord

The Villa by the name of Tursac is run and managed not dissimilar to a hotel but has in store a world of luxuries and amenities that simply could not be further from the standard hotel experience. Sublime antiques and every decorative touch imaginable has been afforded superb care and attention, resulting in a total package that cannot fail to delight. The billiard room and heated swimming pool are of course the biggest draw, along with the Arabian steam bath which provides as much additional relaxation as it does obligatory bragging rights.

Tursac can comfortably house up to 13 people and offers a range of additional services including every housekeeping option imaginable including babysitting.

Spain - Sa Punta de S'Aguila - Mallorca

Nowhere has the art of combining traditional Spanish cultural touched with the comforts of the modern day mastered quite like Sa Punta de S'Aguila. The property offers a number of rather elite and exclusive assets, not least of which it its situation right on the estate of none other than Richard Branson. Stone walls, wooden beams and spectacular views over the sea all come as a standard inclusion in the package.

One of the most appealing aspects of this particular villa is that guests are allowed to make full use of the nearby hotel, allowing a combination of the very best of both worlds without compromising or sacrificing anything. The villa can house 10 easily and comes with optional housekeeping and cooking services for those really looking to pamper themselves.

The more independent reviews of villa property that there are, the better we will be served.

There are too many people offering villas without telling the truth about the area or the condition of their units.
